The Castle Hotel began life in 1776 as the Crown & Sceptre and has watched the Northern Quarter evolve from workers’ streets to creative quarter. Inside you will find wood panelling, etched glass and several snug rooms. In modern times it has become known as a small but respected live music venue while retaining its traditional pub character.
